About Linda


Conscientious and compassionate neurofeedback therapist and educational psychologist Linda Nerenberg, MS, LEP, BCN, enjoys providing quality highly customized services at San Diego Neurofeedback in La Mesa, California.

Linda is one of the first neurofeedback therapists in San Diego. She specializes in attention deficits, learning problems, and individualized education programs (IEPs) for schools.She also works with anxiety, performance memory, and autism. She is also one of the leading ADHD specialists in neurofeedback.

Linda received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Minnesota. Afterward, she finished her master’s degree in counseling and school psychology before obtaining her credential in Pupil Personal Services.

For over 12 years, Linda worked as a school psychologist for Cajon Valley Union School District in El Cajon, California. She began her neurofeedback training in 2003 and has been in private practice since. Linda also received quality training as a general biofeedback practitioner.

Linda is a professional counselor board certified by the American Psychotherapy Association. She’s also board certified by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance and, she has been a consultant at the San Diego State University (SDSU) Counseling Department for three years. Linda serves as a BCIA mentor providing classes to help others receive neurofeedback certification.

Linda was a clinical counseling therapist and is an affiliated neurofeedback consultant with SDSU, where she trains psychologists in neurofeedback theory, specific placement protocols, client evaluation, and the use of various biofeedback and neurofeedback programs. She also works with athletic teams and individuals to boost performance.

Linda assisted in the launch of a neurofeedback program in the Counseling and Student Services Department at SDSU. She also set up an effective neurofeedback program at Southwestern Community College.

Linda is a proponent of neurofeedback’s benefits for both adults and children and its ability to enhance attention, performance in sports, business, and academics. It also helps with sleep disorders, test anxiety, migraines, pain, anxiety, depression, autism, and more. She has extensive experience testing and writing psychological evaluations and reports and will use this information to create individualized Neurofeedback protocols.

Linda successfully uses a combination of neurofeedback and biofeedback to target specific areas of the brain and body to help increase memory, sharpness, and performance.
